  1. John.2.1
1On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
  2. 2and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
  3. 3When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
  4. 4“Woman, what is that to you and to Me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
  5. 5His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
  6. 6Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.
  7. 7Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim.
  8. 8“Now draw some out,” He said, “and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,
  9. 9and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not know where it was from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
  10. 10and said, “Everyone serves the fine wine first, and then the cheap wine after the guests are drunk. But you have saved the fine wine until now!”
  11. 11Jesus performed this, the first of His signs, at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
  12. 46So once again He came to Cana in Galilee, where He had turned the water into wine. And there was a royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum.
  13. 47When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged Him to come down and heal his son, who was about to die.
  14. 48Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will never believe.”
  15. 49“Sir,” the official said, “come down before my child dies.”
  16. 50“Go,” said Jesus. “Your son will live.” The man took Jesus at His word and departed.
  17. 51And while he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was alive.
  18. 52So he inquired as to the hour when his son had recovered, and they told him, “The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour.”
  19. 53Then the father realized that this was the very hour in which Jesus had told him, “Your son will live.” And he and all his household believed.
  20. 54This was now the second sign that Jesus performed after coming from Judea into Galilee.
  21. Luke.5.1
1On one occasion, while Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret with the crowd pressing in on Him to hear the word of God,
  22. 2He saw two boats at the edge of the lake. The fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.
  23. 3Jesus got into the boat belonging to Simon and asked him to put out a little from shore. And sitting down, He taught the people from the boat.
  24. 4When Jesus had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”
  25. 5“Master,” Simon replied, “we have worked hard all night without catching anything. But because You say so, I will let down the nets.”
  26. 6When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to tear.
  27. 7So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
  28. 8When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees. “Go away from me, Lord,” he said, “for I am a sinful man.”
  29. 9For he and his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,
  30. 10and so were his partners James and John, the sons of Zebedee. “Do not be afraid,” Jesus said to Simon. “From now on you will catch men.”
  31. 11And when they had brought their boats ashore, they left everything and followed Him.
  32. Mark.1.21
21Then Jesus and His companions went to Capernaum, and right away Jesus entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and began to teach.
  33. 22The people were astonished at His teaching, because He taught as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
  34. 23Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue:
  35. 24“What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
  36. 25But Jesus rebuked the spirit. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!”
  37. 26At this, the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and came out with a loud shriek.
  38. 27All the people were amazed and began to ask one another, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!”
  39. 28And the news about Jesus spread quickly through the whole region of Galilee.
  40. 29As soon as Jesus and His companions had left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
